Jessica Foster

My name is Jessica Foster. I grew up in Fort Wayne and graduated from Bishop Dwenger High School. I continued my education at Purdue University which is where I met my husband, Todd. We have been married 22 years and have three wonderful children. Sienna is an 8th grader, Calista a 6th grader and Wyatt is in 4th. My family is absolutely what brings me the most joy and pride in my life!

My passion to help others began as a child. Growing up, my sister Jenny, had a rare disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta Congenita or Brittle Bone Syndrome. Jenny was involved with studies at Riley. My sister passed when she was 8 but she was amazing!!! She made a huge impact on my life and all of those who she came in contact with. I am participating in this event to honor her!

My job has been a gift allowing me to help and volunteer at events for Cystic Fibrosis. I have met so many wonderful people and my desire to help takes me back to my childhood!

While at Purdue, I was involved with the Purdue Dance Team and my husband was a basketball player so we have the funny story of meeting for the first time on the Mackey Court when a teammate introduced us! Even though I have danced, I am still horribly intimidated by ballroom. This will be a new experience for me although I am so excited to work hard for this remarkable event!
