Shaley Niehus

I am Shaley Niehus, I am 45 years old and I live in Speedway with my husband (Tom), my 2 sons (Camden & Oliver), 2 Bulldogs (Sluggo & Motley), and a fish named Thor. I have been in Health Care for the past 16 years working as a Surgical Technologist in a mix of different fields of practice. I currently have been working at Midwest Fertility for the past 2 years and I LOVE being a part of something to help people fulfill their dream of adding to their family or starting one of their own.

I have loved dancing as long as I can remember. Growing up in North County San Diego, I competed in dance competitions as a child, and those experiences created a lifelong love of dance for me.

Over the years, life has taken me in different directions, but my passion for dancing has never gone away. Dancing has always been a way for me to express myself, have fun, and feel connected to something I truly love.

Being part of Reason to Dance and supporting the incredible work at Riley Children’s Hospital gives me the chance to step back onto the dance floor, challenge myself, and reconnect with the little girl who simply loved to dance. I’m filled with excitement and gratitude, ready to savor every moment of this meaningful experience for such a wonderful cause.
